About Killer Watt
Racing
A family motorsport team born in Australia in 2026. Built to compete. Open to all.
Where It All Started
Killer Watt Racing was founded in 2026 by the Watt family — a group of motorsport enthusiasts with a love for competition and a desire to build something of their own. The team name is a play on the Watt family surname: think kilowatt, but make it personal.
Contrary to what the name might suggest, KWR is not an electric-vehicles-only team. We race petrol, electric, hybrid, and anything else with wheels and a drive system. The name is family — not a fuel type.
Starting from Australia, the team has quickly expanded its reach with a growing presence in Laos, making KWR a genuinely international motorsport operation from the very beginning.
What Drives Us

Build Community
Racing is better together. KWR is about more than lap times — it's about a welcoming, inclusive team culture where beginners and veterans race side by side.

Why "Killer Watt"?
The name Killer Watt Racing is a play on the Watt family surname — as in kilowatt, the unit of power. It's a family name, not a statement about electricity.
We are not an electric-vehicles-only team. KWR welcomes petrol, electric, hybrid, and all other vehicle types. What matters is the racing — not what's under the hood.
